The 4 door bi-fold room dividers range consists entirely of Green and Taylor Roomfold Doorsets, built specifically as internal room dividers for use within the home. Four panels slide and fold to one side or split across the opening depending on the configuration you choose, making them easy to operate day to day.
Styles include Shaker doorsets in 1 Lite and 4 Lite glazed options as well as solid panel versions, Ladder designs in 1 Lite and 4 Lite, Heritage 3 Lite, Aston 3 Lite in clear or frosted glass, and Cottage Oak solid panel doorsets. The range is available in oak (prefinished or unprimed), white primed and black finishes, making it straightforward to match your existing internal doors or joinery.
Whether you want to flood a room with light using a fully glazed Shaker 4 Lite doorset, or keep rooms distinctly separate with a solid Cottage Oak or White Primed Shaker panel option, there is a configuration to suit. All doorsets in this category are internal only and are not suitable for use externally. Full details on sizes, configurations and what is supplied are shown on each individual product page.
4 Door Bi-Fold Room Dividers – FAQs
What size opening do 4 panel roomfold doorsets suit?
A 4 panel configuration works well for mid-to-large internal openings where you want a wide clear aperture when the doors are folded back. They are a popular choice for lounge-diners, kitchen extensions and hallway-to-living room openings. For very wide openings, the 5 door range may be more appropriate.
What styles are available in the 4 door range?
Styles include Shaker (1 Lite, 4 Lite and solid panel), Ladder (1 Lite and 4 Lite), Heritage (3 Lite), Aston (3 Lite in clear or frosted glass) and Cottage Oak solid. Finishes are oak (prefinished or unprimed), white primed and black.
Can I get frosted glass in the 4 door range?
Yes. Several styles — including Shaker Oak and Aston Oak — are available with frosted glass as well as clear glass. Frosted glass lets light pass through while reducing visibility between rooms.
Are these internal room dividers or external bifold doors?
These are internal room dividers only. They are not designed for external use or exposure to weather. For external folding doors, please browse our separate Bi-Fold Doors category.
Is professional installation recommended?
Yes. Because 4 panel roomfold doorsets involve multiple panels and a top-hung track system, professional installation is strongly recommended to ensure correct alignment, smooth operation and long-term reliability.
