Glazed white fire doors let light through between rooms without dropping the fire rating; the glass panels go through the same rigorous FD30 testing as the door itself.
Every door in this range is built around a dense, engineered solid core, certified to BS 476 Part 22 or EN 1634-1. That core gives you at least 30 minutes of fire and smoke resistance. Clog them with paint, and the FD30 rating is compromised. A light, even topcoat on the face panels is fine. Heavy build-up around the edges is not.
